Mitchel Krouse, Esq.

Mitchel Krouse, Esq., Partner at Krouse Law Firm (KLF) is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York. He received his B.S. in Accounting from City University of New York, Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, and LL.M in Taxation from the University of Miami, School of Law.

Instead of opting for a clerkship while in law school, Mitchel dedicated his time to community-based programs supporting at-risk youth in poverty-stricken neighborhoods in the South Bronx and Harlem. He also taught financially disadvantaged children in Brooklyn at Boys and Girls High School, the oldest public high school, located in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Following law school, Mitchel began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he worked as tax counsel in their New York office. He reviewed and performed tax research, drafted transactional tax opinions and represented corporations, partnerships and individual clients in tax controversies involving the IRS and state taxing authorities.

Prior to founding KLF, Mitchel was Vice President and General Counsel of Zurich, N.A. property and casualty subsidiaries in Florida, California, Texas, and South Carolina. There, he handled all legal matters for several multi-state and multi-line property and casualty companies in the holding company group. Subsequently, he served as President of Normandy Harbor Insurance Company, where he provided leadership, managed corporate risk, and drove development and implementation of short and long-term strategic operational objectives.
